Alicia Zimnickas and her art
Alicja's Zimnickas ART is strongly integrated and presented in all her work within INTERIOR and DESIGN. She currently works from her studio in Cambridge, and intends to periodically release a limited series of original acrylic and oil paintings.
ART has for decades been a large and important part of Alicja´s life and work. She is a dedicated artist and designer. Creativity is her driving force, with painting and design playing a vital role in her artistic expression. Nature, landscape and light always been an inspiration for Alicja. Her skilled use of light to create atmosphere are very unique and have allowed her to create her own painting technique. She searches for peace, silence and bold simplicity in her artworks, simply concentrating on the essential in her contemporary landscapes and fragmented nature compositions. She finds inspiration in the most natural, simple things, such as leaves, trees, light and water. She paints on canvas in both oil and acrylic

Exhibitions
Alicia Zimnickas began exhibiting her paintings in the early 1990’s and has shown her artwork in numerous countries including Canada, UK, France, Sweden, Poland and Lithuania. Her paintings can be found throughout the world in private collections, prestigious hotels (including the Marriott and the Hilton), and on the walls of various companies, such as Novartis, Deloitte, Mastercard, Allianz, the Lithuanian Embassy in Poland and the Presidential Palace in Lithuania.
